Description
We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in specialist school settings in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
About the Role:
You will play an important role in helping pupils feel safe, supported, and able to engage with their education.
The schools we work with support pupils with a wide range of additional needs, which may include:
- -Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- -Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- -Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- -Global Developmental Delay
- -Behaviours that Challenge
- -Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- -Other complex and additional learning needs

Requirements:
- ✅ Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children.
- ✅ Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with individuals with SEND and/or SEMH needs.
- ✅ An Enhanced DBS certificate subscribed to the DBS Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- ✅Right to Work in the UK.
- ✅ Professional references that cover the past 24 months.
