We’re currently supporting a range of welcoming schools and specialist educational settings looking for kind, patient and dependable people to support children and young people across the classroom. Opportunities are available in both SEND and SEMH settings, working with pupils from EYFS through to KS2.
Working hours are typically 8:30am to 3:30pm, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available, allowing you to choose the days that fit around your lifestyle.
What you could be doing
- Helping teachers create calm, positive and inclusive learning environments.
- Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs within classroom and specialist settings.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support, helping children feel understood, included and ready to learn.
- Working with pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH and a range of additional learning needs.
- Encouraging independence, confidence, communication and positive behaviour.
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and developing positive coping strategies.
We’d love to hear from you if you have
- Ideally at least 6 months’ experience working with children or young people, particularly within SEND or SEMH.
- A CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Education, an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance, or an equivalent qualification (desirable).
