We are currently looking for a Cover Supervisor in Kettering or surrounding areas (NN14, NN15, NN16, NN17, PE8) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in working in education, whether you’re an experienced cover supervisor or considering a future in teaching.
About the Role:
You will play a vital role in ensuring students are learning in the absence of their regular teacher. You will supervise classes, deliver lessons, and make sure students remain on task in a calm and focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Firstly, deliver work to classes
- In addition, manage classroom behaviour
- Furthermore, report back on student progress and behaviour to teaching staff
- Support students in their learning
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff
We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication
- Manage a classroom and engage students
- Flexible and proactive approach
- Experience working with children
- Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Math
- An interest in education and supporting students
