Are you a passionate educator with experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs ?
At Textbook Teachers, we’re looking for kind, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in some of our lovely settings across Rutland and the surrounding areas.
(LE7, LE14, LE16, PE9, NN17, LE15)
Whether you’re just starting out or have 20 years of experience under your belt, we’ll help you find flexible opportunities that fit around you – so that you can do a role that truly makes a difference in a child’s early education journey.
In this role, you will play a key part in guiding children through their most formative years. By doing so, you will help foster a secure, caring, and stimulating environment where they can grow in confidence, develop independence, and discover a love of learning.

What We’re Looking For
✔ Experience working with children (school or similar environment)
✔ In addition knowledge and experience working with SEN children or vulnerable people would be desirable
✔ A nurturing, child-centred approach
✔ Confidence supporting learning through play
✔ Patience, warmth and enthusiastic
✔ A flexible and positive attitude
Key Responsibilities
- Support the learning and development of pupils across a range of abilities
- Work closely with teachers to help deliver high-quality lessons
- Help to assist in planning and delivering tailored interventions for the children
- Help to manage classroom behaviour in line with the schools policy
- Prepare learning materials and resources
- provide one-to-one small group support to help create an engaging learning environment.
