We are currently looking for SEN Support Workers to join our team in Northampton or surrounding areas. (NN1, NN2, NN3, NN4, NN5, NN6, NN7) – Experience is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Firstly provide one-to-one or group support for students with additional learning needs.
- Secondly, assist in helping with behaviour support strategies.
- Working with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure consistent support for the students.
- In addition, promote inclusion and help create a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
About You
- To begin with, genuine passion for supporting young SEN people.
- Strong communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training) are an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
