Primary Supply Teaching Roles – Flexible Work in Northampton
Are you looking for a teaching role that fits around your life, not the other way around? If you’re a Primary Teacher who still loves being in the classroom but wants more flexibility, supply teaching could be a great fit.
We’re currently partnering with a range of primary schools across Northampton and nearby areas (NN1–NN7), and we’re keen to welcome more teachers to our supply team.

Textbook Teachers is a well-established education agency in the East Midlands. We work closely with local schools and pride ourselves on being approachable, supportive, and easy to work with. Our aim is simple: to match great teachers with the right schools.
Who we’re looking for:
We’re open to both ECTs and experienced teachers who are:
- Qualified (QTS)
- Comfortable teaching across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
- Confident managing a classroom
- Adaptable and happy to work in different school environments
- In possession of an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
What you can expect:
You’ll have full control over your schedule, allowing you to work when it suits you, alongside opportunities to gain experience in a variety of local schools. You’ll also be supported by a friendly team whenever you need it, with competitive rates of pay on offer.
