The new school year is underway, and we’re looking for warm, friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join the Textbook Teachers team. You’ll be supporting fantastic schools across Boston and the surrounding areas.
Whether you’re an experienced General Teaching Assistant, have a passion for SEND, or enjoy working closely with pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis, we’d love to hear from you!
If you have at least 6 months’ experience working in a school, and enjoy helping children feel confident, supported and ready to learn, there could be a brilliant opportunity waiting for you.
- Role: Supply/Bank Learning Support Assistant
- Pay: £95.00 – £110.00 per day (depending on experience)
- Availability: Between 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Whether you’re looking for full-time work, part-time opportunities, or occasional assignments to fit around other commitments, we can offer a work pattern that suits you!
What could your next role look like?
Every school is different, so no two days are quite the same!
You could work alongside a class teacher in a mainstream classroom. Alternatively, you might provide dedicated 1:1 support, lead small-group interventions, or support pupils with additional needs in a SEND setting.
You could be working with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, helping them develop their learning, confidence and independence every step of the way.
You could be:
- Supporting pupils within a busy mainstream classroom
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils who need a little extra encouragement
- Delivering small-group interventions to help children catch up and make progress
- Supporting pupils with SEND, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs and other learning difficulties
- Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils regulate their emotions
- Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued
- Celebrating those little wins and helping pupils recognise just how much they can achieve!
