What does the job entail?
In this role as a science supply teacher, you will provide essential continuity in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, ensuring that high standards of teaching and learning are maintained.
Whether you’re covering for a single day or an extended period, you will deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned science lessons that support students’ academic progress. Your presence will contribute to a stable and positive learning environment, where students can continue to develop their understanding of scientific concepts and skills without disruption.

What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status or a relevant teaching qualification.
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum and experience in a UK classroom.
- Deep understanding of scientific concepts and processes.
- Enthusiasm that inspires students.
- An Enhanced DBS Check (or be willing to complete one through us).
- Someone who sets clear expectations and follows through with consistency.
- Modelling scientific thinking and encouraging students to think analytically.
- Someone who can build routines that support focus, discipline, and mutual respect.
- Shows empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in students’ well-being.
