We’re looking for enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join our friendly and supportive supply team. If you enjoy working with children and want flexibility in your schedule, this could be the perfect role for you!
What You’ll Do:
As a Supply HLTA, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils and staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons when the class teacher is away
- Supporting learning across Early Years, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2
- Helping manage the classroom and providing support to individual or small groups of pupils
- Working closely with teachers to help all pupils achieve their best
- Creating a safe and positive learning environment for every child
What You’ll Need:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A HLTA qualification or similar (Level 4 or higher)
- Previous experience working in primary schools
- Confidence in delivering lessons and managing groups
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
