The role

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils in the classroom to help them achieve their full potential.
• Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and learning activities.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and building pupils’ confidence.
• Supporting children with different learning needs.
• Helping create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable classroom environment.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for individuals who are:

• Friendly, enthusiastic and approachable.
• Passionate about working with children.
• Reliable, adaptable and professional.
• Excellent communicators with a positive attitude.
• Experienced in schools, childcare or youth work (desirable but not essential).
• Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate (Update Service preferred), or are willing to obtain one before starting work.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
